Rohit Gupta
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Rohit Gupta is President, CEO and Director of Enact Holdings. Passionate about helping more people responsibly achieve and maintain the dream of homeownership, Mr. Gupta works with lenders, regulators, and policy leaders to advocate for the value of mortgage insurance to a sustainable housing finance system. Prior to being named CEO, Mr. Gupta held the positions of Chief Commercial Officer & Senior Vice President of Products, Intelligence and Strategy, as well as Vice President of Commercial Operations, in Enact’s Mortgage Insurance business. Mr. Gupta currently serves as chairman and board member of the U.S. Mortgage Insurers trade association. He also serves on the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association and is a member of the Housing Policy Executive Council. In addition, Mr. Gupta served on the board of Aqua Finance, a consumer finance company owned by Blackstone, from 2020 to 2022, and previously served on the board of Sagen, Canada’s largest private mortgage insurance provider, from 2016 to 2019. Mr. Gupta is a catalyst for community change and served as the chair of the Genworth Foundation Board from 2018 to 2021, and currently serves as a board member of Pratham USA’s Raleigh chapter. Mr. Gupta began his career with FedEx in Strategic Marketing in 1998 where he was responsible for competitive intelligence and market analysis supporting FedEx senior management. He was hired by GE Capital as a Product Manager responsible for growing a new business line for an Information Technology business. Between 2003 and 2007, he held various marketing and commercial roles. Mr. Gupta has an MBA in Finance from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and an under-graduate degree in Computer Science & Technology from Indian Institute of Technology. He resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his two children.
Dean Mitchell
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer

Dean Mitchell is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer at Enact, where he is responsible for financial operations, financial reporting, and financial strategies. After holding the CFO position on acting basis, Mr. Mitchell assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2012, later assuming the additional role of Treasurer in March 2013. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Capital Management for the U.S. Mortgage Insurance segment. Mr. Mitchell joined the company in June 2004 as a member of the Global Capital Management group. Prior to Enact, Mr. Mitchell was Treasurer of Reichhold, Inc., a global chemical manufacturer located in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and held the Director of Treasury role at Business Telecom, Inc., a privately held telecommunications provider located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and two sons.

Evan Stolove
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
Evan Stolove is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Enact, where he is responsible for legal, compliance, privacy, corporate governance, and state government affairs. Mr. Stolove joined the company in August 2016 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, and assumed the additional role of Secretary in July 2017. Immediately prior to Enact, Mr. Stolove worked at Fannie Mae, most recently serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. Previously, Mr. Stolove was in private practice with the law firm of Arent Fox PLLC in its commercial litigation practice. Prior to that, he clerked for judges at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the Maryland Court of Appeals. Mr. Stolove received his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and Psychology from the University of Michigan and a J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law.
Michael Derstine
Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer
Michael Derstine is Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Enact, where he is responsible for risk management, risk modeling, pricing, credit policy, and quality assurance. After joining the company in January 2013, Mr. Derstine served as Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. Prior to Enact, Mr. Derstine held various positions at Republic Mortgage Insurance Company beginning in May 2002 including: Mortgage Valuation Manager, Pricing Group Manager and Vice President of Risk Management, Quality Assurance, and Analytics. Mr. Derstine began his career with TE Connectivity, a global technology firm, in 1992, where he was a Product Development Design Engineer. Mr. Derstine has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Messiah College and an M.B.A from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management.
Brian Gould
Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer
Brian Gould is Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Enact, where he is responsible for underwriting, analytics, information technology, project management, lender services, and loss mitigation. Mr. Gould previously served as Vice President of Operations for Enact, a role he assumed in November 2018. Prior to Enact, Mr. Gould served as a consultant for Freddie Mac after spending 18 years with United Guaranty Corporation. Mr. Gould held roles of increasing responsibility at United Guaranty Corporation including Pool Operations Manager, Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Operating Officer. He began his career at State Farm Insurance Company as a Claims Specialist. Mr. Gould received a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from University of North Carolina – Greensboro. He also holds designations as an Associate in Claims and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.
Duane Duncan
Senior Vice President - Government and Industry Relations
Duane Duncan is Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations at Enact. He is responsible for leading the development of policy positions and maintaining relationships with policymakers, trade associations, stakeholders and influencers at the state and federal levels, as well as key international organizations. Mr. Duncan currently serves on the Board of the Congressional Institute and on the Board of the National Housing Conference. Prior to joining Enact, Mr. Duncan was a principal with DSD Capitol, a government relations and lobbying practice specializing in financial services and housing finance matters. He represented numerous firms and trade associations with priorities before the Administration, federal regulators and on Capitol Hill. Mr. Duncan also served as Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations with Fannie Mae where he was responsible for legislative, policy and political engagement with Capitol Hill and the Administration. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Mr. Duncan served for five years as Chief of Staff and Counsel for Congressman Richard Baker (R-LA) who Chaired the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance & GSEs. He is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College, earned his law degree from George Mason University, and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
Neenu Kainth
Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer
Neenu Kainth is Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer at Enact, where she oversees the end-to-end customer strategy and experience including customer success and digital integrations. Prior to joining Enact in 2022, Ms. Kainth served as the Chief Digital Officer at Mr. Cooper and Newrez where she led digital transformation across all lines of business for consumer-facing functions. Ms. Kainth is a seasoned digital transformation leader, customer experience architect, and product innovation expert with over 20 years of experience driving digital innovations and transformations at Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Kainth began her career in technology product development and held a number of senior roles at Verizon and Comcast where she was responsible for product management, technology development, pricing, revenue, and cost management for the consumer lines of business. Ms. Kainth holds an Executive MBA from the Wharton School of Business and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Computer Science from Arizona State University. Ms. Kainth has been recognized by HousingWire Magazine as one of their “Vanguard” and “Women of Influence” award winners, as well as Dallas Business Journal’s “Women In Technology.” Ms. Kainth resides in Raleigh, NC with her husband and daughter.
Susan Sullivan
Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Susan Sullivan is Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Human Resources Officer at Enact, where she is responsible for the overarching people strategy, and leads the employee relations, internal communications, talent & culture, and facilities teams. Ms. Sullivan joined the company in 2008 as the HR Leader for multiple functions and was promoted to her SVP role in December of 2011. Prior to Enact, she held leadership and executive positions at Misys Healthcare Systems (now Veradigm) leading several HR initiatives and programs for various business units during her tenure. Ms. Sullivan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business & Economics from St. Andrews Presbyterian University. She has multiple HR certifications and has completed executive education programs at universities including University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of Virginia Darden Business School, Duke University, and Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Matt Young
Senior Vice President - Sales
Matt Young is Senior Vice President of Sales at Enact, where he is responsible for Enact’s sales organization, including strategic accounts, regional sales, and the inside sales teams, as well as leading the customer training, sales training, and inbound customer support (ActionCenter®) teams. Prior to joining the company in 2012, Mr. Young was a regional vice president at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Mr. Young began his career in 1990 as a member of one of GE’s rotational leadership programs. Over the course of his time at GE, he held several roles in Sourcing, Six Sigma and Sales, among other functions, while working at GE Aviation, GE Card Services and GE IT Solutions. He entered the mortgage industry in 2003, joining then GE Mortgage Insurance as the Vice President of Salesforce Effectiveness. He later managed regional sales teams at GE Mortgage Insurance where he was recognized as the top performing Regional Vice President of Sales in two successive years. Mr. Young earned an MBA in management from Miami University-Oxford, Ohio, and has a B.S. degree in business from Michigan State University. He resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Marc Zinner
Vice President and Chief of Staff
Marc Zinner is Vice President and Chief of Staff to Enact President & CEO Rohit Gupta, where he supports the CEO in overseeing the operations of the company and leads strategic planning processes across the organization. Since joining the company in 2004, Mr. Zinner has held positions in Customer Solutions, Operations, and Government and GSE Relations. Prior to Enact, he held Financial Planning & Analysis, Pricing, and Process Improvement (Six Sigma) roles at General Electric. Prior to General Electric, Mr. Zinner served ten years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. Zinner earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s degree in Systems Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
